Boyd Interactive today launched Stardust Casino in Alberta, going live on the opening day of the province’s regulated online gaming market.
Alberta is the second Canadian province, after Ontario, to open its online gaming market to licensed private operators. The framework was established by the iGaming Alberta Act and is overseen by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) as regulator, with the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) acting as the conduct-and-manage body.
