Boyd Interactive was proud to attend the Canadian Gaming Summit in Toronto on June 18–19, where we connected with partners, explored industry trends, and engaged in conversations about the future of iGaming in Canada.
This year’s summit offered a valuable opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the industry and take the pulse of a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. As always, it was a chance to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and stay ahead of what’s next.
One topic on nearly everyone’s mind was Alberta’s upcoming iGaming market. With Bill 48 recently passed, excitement was building around the province’s move toward a commercial iGaming framework. The Minister responsible, Dale Nally, did a great job promoting Alberta as an attractive jurisdiction for business. While he remained tight-lipped about specifics such as tax rates and other regulations, it’s clear the province is aiming to follow a well-considered path toward implementation.
Boyd Interactive continues to monitor the progress closely as we support partners across all regulated North American markets and prepare for what’s ahead.
